Margaret Bryant opened her Carrollton (Dallas), Texas studio in 1998. She specialized in photographing pets from the very beginning. While her business, Bryant Dog Photography, mostly photographs dogs, she also photographs cats and horses, with the occasional bird or rodent thrown in. Her photography is fun and whimsical, and when the pet is photographed with their human, it can be classic and emotional. It is always about capturing the personality of the pet and the relationship with their human.
Margaret started teaching in 2010. While pet photography is the most popular topic, she also teaches about copyright law, Photoshop and print competition. She teaches workshops, webinars, single day and multi day classes.
Margaret is a Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman, and PPA certified Professional Photographer. She is a seven time PPA Photographer of the Year medalist and a two time PPA Grand Imaging Award finalist.
